Autumn Inspired Smokey Eye

This look is by request of Krystin Giles she wanted to see an Autumn Inspired Smokey Eye.  If you have a request that you would like to see posted to the blog, feel free to email me (cj@makeupnotdown.com). I made sure to not get too crazy with the colors and kept the technique simple.  For the this particular look I swept color onto to my crease first.  Then I patted a gold color eyeshadow onto my entire lid.  Last, I worked a black sparkly eyeshadow on the corner of the lid in an outer "V" formation.  But think more of a sideways "V" LOL!  Anyways see the entire look and products I used below.

Eyes:
Espresso eye shadow - To fill in the eyebrows
Painterly Paint Pot – On the lid as a base.
Woodwinked eye shadow - Inner corner and center of the lid.
Saddle eye shadow - In the crease.
Black Tied eye shadow - Outer lid.
Blacktrack Fluidline Eye liner gel - To line upper lash line.
Smolder eye pencil – To line the waterline.

Lashes:
Duo Lash Adhesive- Apply a thin strip to the lash line.
False lashes (#7) - Apply as close to the natural upper lash line as possible.

Lips:
Beet Lip Pencil - Line the lips and fill in for more color.
Cremesheen Glass Over Indulgence - Apply to the center of each lip and rub lips together.
Face:

Matchmaster foundatin 7.0 - Apply with a 187 brush and start from the center of your face and blend out.
Mineralize Skinfinish Powder (over top of the foundation) - Use the same 187 brush and apply all over your face.
Blot Powder Pressed - Dust it over the oily spots with a large powder brush and you are good to go.  I reapply this as much as needed throughout the day.

MAC Velvet 6 Smoked Eyes Holiday 2006 Palette : Black Tied (bottom right in the palette)
*Black Tied still available

Left to right : Espresso, Woodwinked, Saddle, Painterly Paintpot

I wasn't too fond of the colors I used on my cheeks and lips.  But you can use another color if desired.  Remember you can always wash it off!  :)  Will you try my Autumn Inspired Smokey Eye?
